I'm addicted to Dole Fruit Cups in gel. Particularly the mixed fruit in black cherry gel. It's pretty much jello with diced fruit.

I've enjoyed Tamarind fruit as long as I can remember. I've always just preferred savory and tart things to sweets. I've always like eating a meal rather than dessert. I'm strange. What can I say.

So when my husband procured some Tamarind balls. I was in heaven. It is sweet and sour at the same time. Chewy and gritty. And it has the prettiest seeds.

I'm not a person that like bananas really. Or so I thought. I will have a green banana(no not a Plantain(though I liked them fried) every now and then. And so I haven't really tried desserts with bananas in it. Though recently I accidentally ate some bread pudding and really really enjoyed it. Then I ate a moon pie not knowing it was also banana flavored and loved it as well. So Banana's Foster here I come.

My local news station had a segment recently on how some fruit are better than other fruit. At first I thought this is silly. Isn't all fruit good for you? Well better than candy anyway? Apparently some fruit is better than others for fighting disease. For more info click here.

My local supermarket is pretty good when it comes to having exotic fruit. Anyone recognize any of them in the photo to let me know what they are or good to try?

I think I have tried the star fruit. It was so so.

Another one of my favorite foods of winter, you know besides clemenitne's and chestnuts are pomegrantes. They taste so good and are really wonderful for you. Plus the seeds are such a bright burst of color during the gray winter.

There are a lot of good things about Summer, except the oppressive heat of course, and one of them is watermelon. Niel and I go through so much of it. We eat a big one every other week all by ourselves. Last week Niel found a miniature watermelon. I had seen them a while ago but they were new to my area and still pricey. Niel spotted them on sale and brought one home. It was so tasty. It lasted much shorter than a whole one does but again it was so tasty.

I thought what I was eating for my afternoon snack was a tangerine. But when I cut into it, my tangerine turned out to be a blood orange. I had never seen one so small before. It was tart and yummy.
