Goodbye Weezie. Posted by Hello

The Jeffersons is one of my all time favorite shows. I loved the interaction between the characters, especially feisty George and classy Louise. I was very saddened to hear that the actress Isabel Sanford who played Louise passed away. May she rest in peace.

I just haven't felt like doing much lately in terms of anything crafty, knitting, cooking, wearing jewelry or writing. I just want to be. I go through cycles like these.

Luckily with cooking my lethargy does not last too long but it is so hot all I want to eat are salads. Since they are not too heavy. I've been actually been craving Indian take out from a new place we found in Kew Gardens as well as some Hispanic food from Ridgewood.

I hope Ken Lehey goes to jail for a long long time.

People should have a test just so they can have kids, much like a drivers license but stricter.

It's weird to me that she passed away... It seemed so sudden. She was only in her early eighties - I mean, Brando was older and had put his body through so much with drinking and drugs that him living as long as he did was a surprise. Isabel Sanford looked good the last time I saw her on t.v. which was last year I think.

Well, I guess only wish her family comfort.

Georgia - Who knows why some go earlier than others? She did look amazing for her age.

Jess - I saw the show in reruns. The first season is out on dvd if you want to rent it.

There are two things from that show that I have permanantly burned into my memory. 1) When Mr. Bentley would ask George to walk on his back when he had a backache and 2) When the Jefferson and their neighbors would fight each other with those pillows on a stick. You can't beat that for entertainment :-)

Ahhh yes and the frequent use of the word Honkey
