So there is a transit strike in New York city. My bosses gave the ok for my department to work from home. I wonder from one day of striking how much it will actually cripple the city like the local media has been reporting it will. I still hope the Transit Union and Metropolitan Transportation Authority can resolve this so us straphangers can get on with things. Either way I will brave it in like Niel's did today and go in tomorrow.

In Disney I purchased a Mickey pancake and egg mold. On Saturday I made eggs sunny side up, shaped like Mickey eggs. The first did not go well. The eggs came out a little wacky looking and not much like a Mickey head. I'll have to keep trying.

People are driving into work. TV is showing chaos. The roads are backed up. Niel just got on a Long Island railroad and then once he gets off in 45 minutes or so he is going to have to walk twenty blocks. Getting home is going to be worse. Blech.

Most of us NC people drive everywhere so I can't imagine what it would be like. I hope it works out for you.
I've tried cooking eggs in those things too and mine turned out weird too. They would come out of the sides :)
I got a special package in the mail yesterday! Thank you so much!

The train is cheaper in NY than trying to find a garage for parking because there are hardly any spots to park. Plus Niel and I work in different parts of the city and sometimes get out at different times so the train is much more convenient. Thanks for the well wishes. That is what happened to my eggs too :)
Your little one is going to recieve a package to for his birthday just as soon as I can get to a post office.
