I wanted to share some pictures of the lovely produce, jams/jellies and other natural goodness that can be found at the Union Square Farmer's Market.

This is a pic of a vegetable curry patty. My friend Elaine purchased it for me at the Farmer's Market. The patties come in a variety of shells and fillings.

I love knowing all different types of people. I think it would be boring just to hang out with the same type of person. Some of my friends are: my food buddy Elaine and I talk about food ALOT, Isabel and I try different restaurants, my friend Stephanie, I trade CD's and magazines with, and gossip about celebrities and last but not least my friend Rifka, whom I go to the movies with. Anyway below are the pictures.

A peek at what Niel is working on with my new website. Here is what my new Wanderings page looks like and what Foodiechickie.com looks like right now. I thought it was pretty cute even for its early stages.

That's awesome. I LOVE going to markets. When you come to Vancouver, you HAVE to visit Granville Island. Markets and stores...cute & quaint.

I've heard of it. How far is it from Vancouver? Thanks for the tip!

Oh no...it's IN Vancouver. It's not actually on an "island"...jsut the name they call the market. It's by the water (waterway), though, so you can see boats and stuff. The atmosphere is just awesome.

Ooooh sounds awesome! Thank you! I'm thinking it's similar to Pike's Place in Seattle.

We don't really have farmer's markets like that here but there are some great ones across the border. I'm sure you'd love those! I don't think I've ever asked, but have you ever been to Mexico?

I LOVE the way your website is coming along! Aww. . and I'm on the wanderings page. Thanks! I wish I knew how to design pages.

No unfortunetly I have never been to Mexico. Someday I hope! I've heard lovely things about it by watching the Rick Bayless show, from your blog, my coworker whose been there a few times and some other people who've been there. I am sure I would like it. Thanks for the compliments! You were linked when I had my wanderings on geocities. Yeah my husband is doing the page and since he is a pretty busy guy it's taking a bit long. I wish I knew it myself so I don't have to bug him about it. He knows basic HTML and I thought it was pretty good for the amount he knew.

Have fun finding farmer's markets. I love dill. Have some growing on my sill too. Hope to have a garden one day to grow herbs, veggies, perhaps a fruit tree or two. Thanks for the compliments! I would love to visit Quebec one day. Have not. I'll check out the flickr account. Thanks!
