I never thought I would see an Armenian ice cream cone again. I have fond memories of eating ice cream in Armenia. The cone would get nice and soft. And the ice cream tasted so fresh. Although the ice cream was always vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. It was the best tasting I ever had. Especially the vanilla. Then we moved to American and my tastes became more refined. I fell in love with Pistachio, Cookies and Cream and Rocky Road. Then the other day my mother found some at the Eastern European deli in her neighborhood. I was so excited. Although the packaging was of course in English, since the distributers and makers want it to sell in the states. However It tastes exactly the same as I remember it. And I get to travel thousands of miles every time I eat one.

I've broadened by ice cream horizons this summer. I generally only eat chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate or butter pecan. But we have this new ice cream place down here called Brusters that has the best ice cream I've ever had. Their cake batter and cherry cheesecake flavors are so good jammed into a waffle cone.
That looks very interesting. I'm a cookies 'n' cream girl, m'self. But I'll never pass up homemade peach or banana.
ohhh that ice cream sounds so good... I soo need to get an ice cream maker so I can make my own... yum!!
