Some interesting facts about Peeps for you which I got from my local paper, The Metro:
*Peeps eyes are made from Canauba wax. The same kind of wax for your car. Ewww. Got that information from Niel.
*Peeps have fans around the globe. 72,000 of which are enrolled in the official fan club www.marshmallowpeeps.com. Other peep clubs www.lordofthepeeps.com, www.peepresearch.org, and www.peepshow.com.
*Peeps are born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I am so lame. I aslo know Bethlehem is also the hometown of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Heh heh.
*Peeps have a shelf life of 24 months.
*Some folks like me prefer to eat them fresh, others aged or frozen.

I can eat maybe *one* Peep every Easter. Beyond that, it's just too much! :) I think that they're especially fun to stick in the microwave and watch them expand/explode. LOL! :) The purple ones are pretty. Bethlehem, PA isn't too far from where Shannon O. lives, I believe!
I saw cocoa flavored peeps at Target yesterday ... almost bought them. Frozen sounds kinda good though!!

Hmm . . . frozen peeps. Although that whole ear wax thing kind of ruins it for me.
I bought a Peeps pillow for Brianna this year. I mean, the easter bunny is going to bring a peeps pillow for Brianna this year.
OMG!!!! LOL! LOL! LOL! I swear I read "ear wax" and since I have no idea what "Canauba" is, I thought it was a medical term. I can hardly type, I'm laughing so hard.
