Hope everyone had a good weekend. Was looking forward to the weekend all week. As most do I guess. I like having a lot of activities planned and I just didn't know what we would choose to do. One thing for sure was, Friday after work my mom and I went to see an Anne of Green Gables play. An off Broadway show based on the popular book, turned Canadian series by Lucy Maud Montgomery. It is my mother's birthday on Wednesday, and we both loved the series so I thought it would be nice for both of us to see it. We'll be having lunch on Sunday to celebrate Easter and both of my mom's and my birthdays. Niel all on his own did the laundry during when I was out and picked us up. I don't go by a day without thinking I lucked out. The Squilkys sent me my birthday gifts early. That was one of the highlights of my weekend. Thank you guys. Saturday Niel and I planned on seeing Blades of Glory, then the boiler in our building which is supposedly only four years old, died. But something was wrong with some of the radiators too because the one in my office was shooting out water. But this gave us an opportunity to clean both of our offices. We'll try to see the movie next weekend. If not it will end up on our Netflix list. So what we ended up doing was clean and run errands. Supposedly were getting a new oven this week and the landlord is going to take care of the boiler and radiator. Niel really lucked out by finding the cover for the Ektorp chair I gave him a few years ago. It took a while but Niel never gave in, to buy a overpriced cover. He was very proud. Niel also made some really yummy chicken and mashed potatoes. Since the oven being kaput we have to use our range a lot more. Yay the Mets won their first game, and of all teams against St. Louis. Heh heh. Hope it goes well the rest of the season. Like to see Niel happy. Glad Mind of Mencia and Reno 411 have returned.

Burger King will start to use free range meat and eggs in their meals. It's a start.

Glad you had a nice weekend. I hadn't seen Mencia before last week ... thought his Dee Dee Dee song was pretty funny.
