With the shorter daylight weekends definitely fly by in Autumn. I think a law needs to be passed for a three day weekend. One day for fun to try something new. A second day for errands and the last day for sitting around. Niel and I did our usual of running errands, cleaning, hanging out on the couch, and we also went to see the exhibit at the Newark Museum called Masters of American Comics. My favorites were Snoopy and Popeye at this particular exhibit. We're also going to see the rest of the exhibit at The Jewish Museum sometime too. I managed to snap a few photos before I was told that pictures are not allowed. Heh heh. The Newark Museum is really nice. They are attached to an old Victorian house once owned by a wealthy family. I love going through houses that people once lived in. We also wandered around the rest of the museum looking at the various art work and pieces they had. They also have a nice sculpture garden and eating area. We ended the evening by making yummy homemade chicken soup and eating it with pressed Italian sandwhiches. Niel found some great rosemary foccia bread that was perfect for them.
