I'm obsessed with Onigiri, Japanese rice balls. They're rice filled with usually a savory item, such as Japanese pickles, shrimp, or salmon, and wrapped in seaweed. I have seen them in triangle shapes as well. I don't eat the seaweed. It is a great appetizer or a nice snack. It sort of reminds me of one large piece of Sushi. I found a store that sells them a few blocks from my office for only $1.50. It's so interesting how many different types of rice balls there are. Here is a recipe if you are interested in trying to make them yourself in case you can't find any in your area..

I don't really like the seaweed either. I do like rice though and those do sound yummy!
