Niel, and I finally got around to trying Famous Dave's. I mentioned sometime ago they had opened a chain relatively near our house. Niel is right thank God its place is not closer to use because we would eat there all the time. Famous Dave's is great! It has ambiance and delicious food. It's decorated like a cabin, with lanterns, has a working fireplace, each table has a paper towel held up by a pipe, and their dipping sauces are on the table in beer bottles. The menu predominately offers bbq but also gives the option of fish. We ordered the All American Feast for two. It is served on a garbage lid. Clean of course. It consists of half a chicken, half a rack of ribs, choice of Georgia chopped pork or Texas beef brisket, corn on the cob, fries, corn muffins, baked beans and cole slaw. So if you have a Famous Dave's near you it's worth a try.

Famous Daves is great. Havnt eaten there is a while, but when it first opened here we ate there all the time. That feast for 2 is usually what we get when we go with Rachel's parents. It's so much food. I love their beef brisket and pulled pork.

Sounds like they do things a little differently at the one by you. They don't serve the bbq sauce in beer bottles. They have them in regular squirt bottles like diners have. Where is the one in NY located?

We don't have one around here. It sounds really good though!

Niel liked the brisket a lot. We took the leftovers home. It's located on Long Island.

It just opened up Jessica. Maybe one by you will too.

We have one really close to here. Less than a 5 minute drive. We were there this past weekend. If you ever have room for dessert, you HAVE to try their bread pudding. It's the best! Ours doesn't have the sauce in beer bottles either. They're in regular bottles but in a beer six pack holder. yum. . . .

Hmmmm I believe you both are right. My mistake. I was eyeing the bread pudding but since I stuffed myself I didn't have room. I hope next time.
