When my parents were on vacation, Niel and I would go to their place to check on things. We would also go to 7-11 afterwards. My parents live two short blocks from one. And let me tell you THANK GOD we do not live near a 7-11. We would have major health problems. Niel and I would have to go to 7-11 Lovers Anonymous(is there such a thing?) because we've become addicted to Cheeseburger sausages, slurpies, and cream cheese and jalapeno taquitos.

Have you tried the new cheese filled bratwurst? I nicknamed it the "Ditka Dog". Guaranteed to cause a heart attack in 10 minutes or you get a free Big Gulp.

Heh heh. No not yet.

We were talking about this on Tuesday night. My cousins came over and they asked me if I remembered when they used to spend the summer at my mom's house and I'd always go buy them 7-11 nachos. YUM! We were laughing because I used to get those things almost every day. I *LOVE* those. I'm glad I don't live close to one either. I'd get off school and go buy nachos, hot dogs, and a big gulp. In the summers my friends and I would walk over and buy slurpees. Growing up. I gave my whole allowance over to 7-11. I'm glad I'm not the only one with the addiction. I'd join the program with you, Ani!

There's a 7-11 right across the way from my house. I'll have to put blinders on you guys when you come to visit :-).

And as they say on Starved..."Big Bite addiction...ITS NOT OK!"

LOL. I think you may have to Mike. I saw an episode with Niel. What a sad show! That line at the meetings is funny though.
Thanks for the protection info MM! Hope those darn spammers don't get wise to that too. Luckily no 7-11 near my office either. LOOL!
I remember those days Niel. You sure our dates weren't just so you can go to 7-11! Ha ha too late for you now!!!
We should have had 7-11 cater our wedding. It would have been white trash fabulous! LOL!

OK, I'm out of the loop here. I've never had the pleasure of the 7-11 treats except for maybe a slushie. In fact I went for one the other day and the stupid machine was broken!

foodiechickie said...

Oh no they usually have more than one machine working with different flavors. I guess the flavor you wanted was not working. Hope you get to try one of their snacks.

I love slurpies! I used to go to 7-11 in Maryland all the time. I loved their frozen coffee drinks too. Strangely, there aren't any here in Georgia. :-(

Someone brought me a Mountain Dew Big Gulp from 7-11 on our wedding day

Mike said...

Yeah I believe it was you, Kelvin and I who ran across Elliot Avenue to get you a Dew. Ahhhh good times.

I know what you mean Violet I like a bit of everything too.

That is right honey they did buy you a slurpee when we got married.

For some reason Mike I thought it was Dave.

Really no 7-11's in Georgia Hannah? Hmmmm.

Yeah I don't remember for sure. I just remember how nervous and parched Niel looked before the Big Gulp :-). And I remember that we were the best dressed guys to ever shop at a 7-11 :-).

Yeah those 7-11 guys were lucky.
