My husband has occasionally mentioned the Chupacabra creature which has been known or atleast be blamed for killing farm animals in Puerto Rico. He recently came across an article where a Chupacabra was found in Texas. I am not sure if the article is made up and the animal was made in Photoshop but it sure is fun to think it might be real. Or it could be a different creature all together than the Chupacabra.

One of the many pictures of the "elusive" Chupa. Posted by Hello

A few years back I was in New JErsey on business and the locals there kept trying to scare us by telling us about the dreaded "jersey devil". It's supposed to be some sort of rodent/marsupial crossbreed that can fly. Down here in Virginia we have this ledged that surrounds a bridge called the Bunnyman Bridge. Every year around Halloween they talk about it a lot around here. You can probably find info about it doing a google search.

Oooh more spooky legends.

Here's the basics of the ledgend. There are several variations...

Clifton, Virginia - Bunnyman bridge- An Escapee from a mental institution hid in a tunnel under a bridge where he hung people. It is called Bunnyman bridge because when searchers looked for the man they found the carcass of rabbits he had been eating. His ghost still haunts the bridge and sightings of people seen hanging from the bridge are common.
