Blueberry Muffins
Blueberry goodness
Niel brought back with him some treats from his venture last week. He brought back Shoofly Pie and some banana peppers. The pie is sweet. I liked the crust. I was looking for some recipes to use the banana peppers up. It even smells hot. I love spicy! I am going to try it in our salad tonight and use this recipe for it also.
I am enjoying all the additions my local supermarket has to offer. They now offer Sushi (pretty tasty), organic baby veggies (I brought beans, squash, carrots and zucchini),and exotic fruit(Tamarillo, Passion Fruit, Uniq Fruit, and Feijoa).
Now that I have the research on them I want to purchase them and test them out. Hee hee.
I checked out The Days on ABC. I thought the writers were trying too hard and the camera frames made me dizzy.

yum!
Thanks. I forgot where I got the recipe. But I think it just had flour, sugar, blueberries, lemon zest a bit of milk. I think it is a standard recipe one can find online. Sorry I can't find the link people!
Ani, you have some cooking skills...the muffins look yummy : )
If I put my face really close to my monitor I can almost smell the muffins ;-). They look delicious.
The Shew-Fly pie is Rachel's favorite. I'm not a big fan of it, I find it a little too sweet as well. My favorite is pecan pie, the salt in the pecans takes out some of the sweetness of the pie and pecans are naturally a little bitter.
Curly some days I am good others not so good;)
Thanks Mike. I remember you telling me about Rachel liking the Shoofly pie. I prefer fruit pies or coconut custard.
Yeah I was looking forward to it too. It looked good. I might give it another chance.
I've always wanted to try shoofly pie!
Very sweet!
