Pork Fried Rice
Spicy Shrimp
I am very excited to see Harry Potter 3. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two and am interested to see how the new director will guide the film. I think J.K. Rowling is brilliant for creating a world full of magic and whimsy. Of course much like Lord of the Rings and A Wrinkle in Time it deals with the universal theme of good and evil.
I am glad my Summer is going to be filled with Friday evenings of DeGrassi to replace the WB's Summer hiatus. Sundays with Dead Like me , as well as all the movies coming out and one's I'll be renting. I hope also to see a few concerts and maybe take a few quick trips. I was so excited to see so many movies, then became disappointed when Shrek 2 and Raising Helen were not as what I expected. But Napoleon Dynamite and Saved renewed my faith. I know Harry Potter will do the same.
Saw The Cure on Pepsi Smash on TV last night. They sound good and that is all I will say.
I hope to also finally watch the tape of A Wrinkle In Time this weekend.

WOW...your pork fried rice and spicy shimp look AWESOME!!
Ani, I wish I loved movies so much! I do love Lord of the Rings and lots of other movies, but when I go to talk about it with someone my mind seems to shut down on the subject. I have no idea? But I do love cooking and your pork fried rice looks delish! I may even make that for dinner instead of takeout! Mmmmm
That last comment was from me...sorry about that

Thanks you guys. I used left over white rice, added 5 whised eggs that had two tablespoons of soy sauce in it, 2 pieces of large sausage, 2 cups of frozen mixed veggies, half a cup of oyster sauce, 2 table spoons of sesame oil and saute till done.
The shrimp I marinated in 2 tablespoons Asian cooking wine and soy sauce, salt and pepper. Then I sauted it in 3 cloves of garlic minced , 2 tablespoons chili sauce, and a 1 tablespoons of ketchup. I sauted that till done.
It's ok Michele everyone has their own interests!
Help out the cooking dummy for a moment. Do you find the fried rice comes out overly moist? Whenever Rachel and I try to make it, it doesnt have the same consistancy as takeout fried rice. Its way too wet.
Seen you on teh recently published list and popped across to your neighbourhood for a nosey. Your cooking looks fab btw :)

Kraus I couldn't agree with you more. I have a lot of trouble with the consistency and can't figure out to get it the same as the take out places. If I do I will let you know!
Thanks EB.
Oh Ani! Your cooking always looks like so much fun...if only I lived in your house, I'd be so well-fed! ;)
Someday I'll expand my horizons and start experimenting more with cooking! Keep on inspiring!
