My mom has turned me onto using glass bowls for transporting lunches. I used to use plastic for both hot and cold meals for Niel and me. But then my mom told me that microwaving plastic isn't really as safe as it is reported. She suggested glass as an alternative. She is picking some up for us this week. I'll still use plastic for transporting cold meals though.

Ay there are still a good deal things I have not perfected. One of them is making sweet potato fries. Every time I go to a restaurant and I eat some the fries are crispy and perfect. Yet when I try to duplicate them at home with baking it just does not work. I thought baking them would be healthier. Well this time I gave in and I fried them. I figured the healthiness in the sweet potato would counter act the frying process. They were a bit better, but not perfect. I got a tip that they need to be double fried to get perfect.
