Recently while grocery shopping the husband noticed that our freezer section had a few containers of Turkey Hill ice cream which were popcorn flavored. Though I do love popcorn and recently did purchase girl scout cookie ice cream. But I can't stand popcorn flavored jelly beans so I sure won't be purchasing the ice cream.

Since we were on a kick of trying different soda's my husband found Pepsi and Mountain Dew throw back. So we had another taste test.



The Pepsi tasted like Dr. Pepper. Fine if you like Dr. Pepper. Me not so much. So I was pretty grossed out.

The Dew was very good. Not much difference in taste from the current kind. Both sodas are only available for a limited time.

I love Nesting Dolls so I was quite amused to stumble upon this Russian commercial featuring them in a campaign to drink more milk.

Have you heard of cupcake sleeves?. It's sleeves for your cupcake. Instead of a standard liner. A cupcake can now be a bit more dressier. Your cupcake can be made to look like sushi, burgers, bunnies and popcorn. So if you're party has a theme your cupcakes can now match!

Saw these odd ice creamed flavored candies at my local Walgreens. In theory they would probably taste good but I have a feeling probably too sweet.

Recently tried Betty Crocker's Warm Delights(Fudge Brownie). They're pretty much a microwavable dessert. If you are hankering for something sweet and don't want to bake an entire cake or cupcakes then it's not a terrible option to have in stock.

Umm I guess this a food related post. And two posts within days of one another about Burger King.

They are coming out with a cologne for men called Flame. Why I don't know but if you have always wanted to smell like a burger now is your chance.

The other day I was at a convenience store I don't normally go to when I noticed two packages of potato chips. But not any potato chips. They were from Burger King. One was fries and ketchup flavored and the other was flame broiled burger flavored.

I only purchased the flame broiled and took it home to share with Niel.

We both agreed it tasted like BBQ flavored chips, was a bit thicker than normal chips. It was interesting to try but only a one time experience.

In late July Niel and I attended a Trinidadian wedding. The food was great, plenty of music and I got to try cakes I never had before. They were sweet and spicy at the same time.

I sure do love good moose munch. Niel, remembered this so when he saw Harry and David's moose munch bars at our local supermarket, he brought some. I had no idea they came in bar form also. We found them a bit too sweet.

I had been looking for peppermint candy shot glasses since I heard about them last year. I heard Target had them in their 99 cent bin. I didn't find them. I heard Urban Outfitters had them. Too pricey. Oriental Trading has candy shot glasses. But they were in other flavors and I specifically wanted peppermint. I finally found them at Duane Reade, a New York city chain drug store. I saw they had been reduced to $5.00 for a pack of four. You bet I brought some. The container the glasses came in had three recipes on the back. I was told by Niel, Dave and Holly the third recipe which was tried first was enjoyed the best.

It was also the same night Niel drank his 100th different beer. He was glad he accomplished his goal and that it is over.
