Fettucini Alfredo with Ham and Corn

Many years ago at our favorite Italian restaurant my husband ordered a Fettucini Alfredo with bits of ham and corn in it. He fell in love with it. I set out to recreate it and each and every time he raves about it. Making Fettucini Alfredo sauce from scratch is not difficult. I don't even call it a recipe. I melt half a stick of butter. Add in a cup  or so of heavy cream and half a cup of parmesan and just let it boil to get t thick. Then I pour over fettucini noodles. Before that I have already pan fried the ham. I like to use the ham steak from the store. And I nuke the corn to make it easier and quicker. Easy and tasty dinner.
