I was kind of annoyed though when I saw Norah Ephron's name in big letters partly taking credit for adapting the book into the screenplay.
I hope people realize the brilliant story is because of Julie Powell's who spent a year cooking the recipes of the wonderful Julia Child.

I have to admit I didn't love the book....but I do want to see the movie. Meryl Streep as Julia???? Awesome!
I'm excited to see this movie; though I haven't read the book yet. I just added her blog to my google reader so I can get caught up on the story behind the movie!
I liked the food part of the book and wished she'd left the rest out. There was a big disconnect for me there. (She's no Ruth Reichl!)
And I guess if you haven't read the book Ephron's name could be a marketing tool for people who like her films.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm going to see the premier of this movie tonight! I won tickets on bakespace.com. I'm sooo excited!
