There are some popular Cupcake bakeries in New York city. I had only so far tried the Cupcake Cafe. I really love their cupcakes. Flavorful, not too sweet, home made, and you can tell its made with love. Recently I tried Magnolia. Good lord I will not be eating a cupcake from them again. Blech! It was too sweet and just plain gross.

Yea, everyone raves about Magnolia's cupcakes, but I agree. I did not like them. I hate whatever type of frosting that is adn there was WAY too much of it. Gimme their banana pudding ANY TIME though. ;)
I've heard that about their cupcakes. Amazing. And amazingly unfair to all bakers who WANT to be popular AND make better cake!
A whole store dedicated to cupcakes? Wow you are so lucky!
