For most folks the beginning of the Christmas season is when various decorations pop up in stores sometime after Halloween or the unofficial start Black Friday. However for me it is when the ginormous Christmas Tree is lit up at Rockefellar Center. Mind you I wouldn't be bold enough to stand in the crowds to see it lit. I tried one year and I was too far away to even get a good look. I rather sit in the comfort of my couch and watch it light up. Did you get to watch it or have a tree lighting in your city/town?

Yes Christmas music is pretty neat.

We went to the tree lighting in our little "village" on Tuesday. They had carolers and horse carriage rides. It was pretty neat. When/If I get my butt in gear, I will post pictures.

I saw that it was coming on but I didn't get to watch it either. I would love to come there and see all of the sights!

I would love, one day in my life, to be able to see that tree lit up.

I have relatives that live in Wantagh. I should visit with them one day. One of my cuz'ns are in Manhattan too. But I'll only be able to stay with her sans kiddies, becasue her apt is small.

One day... {pray}
