Niel and I visited the library recently. I wandered over the children's section because I had remembered my favorite part of the library when I used to go as a little girl was the world culture portion (which is in the children's section). I wanted to know if the series of books or at least that type of genre still existed. It does. I don't know why I thought it wouldn't. I remember taking out piles of books on the series because I wanted to know what kids were like in other countries. What they ate, customs they had and so on. Recently I found a book about Armenia. Something I couldn't find previously. So for anyone with kids I recommend the series of world culture books. They're pretty neat.

There should be a little section of books in the children's portion of the library. They have books on practically all the different cultures. Good luck!

I am really lucky that I work in the children's area of a library! That is how I do most of my "traveling". I daydream by reading the country books :) They are in the 900 section :)
