This weekend was all about movies. What else can one do when it was raining non stop in NYC? Friday I watched Brokeback Mountain. Even though I enjoyed the movie it depressed the heck out of me. That evening Niel and I saw Date Movie. It was so dumb. The special within the movie was funnier. Saturday we went to see X-Men. That was an awesome movie. We tried to walk around the nice new mall a bit and look at the few farmers who came out in the rain to sell produce but it was too yucky to stay around too long. The rest of the weekend I just cooked comfort foods(bah the rain), knitted and did some crafty stuff. The knitting is a scarf I have been knitting FOREVER. And I am not exaggerating. I just have way too many ideas flittering in and out of my head for projects that I just can't commit to one at a time. I couldn't finish the craft project(felt Christmas ornaments) because I needed more felt. So I picked up the knitting again. I know I am starting early on the ornaments but there is not much on TV and I like keeping busy. I hate it when weekends even soggy ones pass by too quickly. So tell me what did you do?

I also have a habit of starting projects and not finishing them. Made a deal with my hubby that I would buy no new craft items until I finished something at home first.

This weekend involved a lot of shopping. I actually am sick of shopping now. I didn't know that could happen. :)

I *so* know what you mean about the rain! We've had it upstate, too. A LOT. *sigh* I love rain, actually, but it's making it hard to do yard work! Jeff did mow the grass this evening, though. Glad you had fun watching movies! I haven't been in a theater since seeing "Spider-Man 2" in July 2004. LOL! :) I want to see "The Davinci Code."

I like that deal Christina. I wonder if I will get tired from shopping? LOL.

You guys got a lot of rain too Lisanne? I was wondering if upstate did. I like the rain and thunder/lightining too. Just not being stuck in it. LOL. The DaVinci Code was good. We hadn't seen a movie I think since 40 Year Old Virgin.
