My first Candy Swappers package came in. I am utterly pleased with my goodies. My partner sent me regional candies. She is from Texas and I got a lot neat peanutty and coconutty treats.

You tend to forget how different even regions of the US can be. Colorado specific treats would be stuff from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Sees candies. TN specific would be Moon Pies or GooGoo Clusters (which my dad amusingly describes as a "major dessert"). I never figured out what a WI specific anything was ... that place was bland!

It is pretty neat to learn stuff like that. Same thing about soda and favorite foods of different regions. Thankful the Food Network has shows about that.

I hope that you get a package from Canada with Coffee Crisps and real Smarties instead of the weird American ones :)

I hope I do get some Canadian candy in the upcoming rounds. I would love that. Too funny you mentioned Smarties. I sent some out for Easter. How are they different? And Coffee Crisps are cookies?
