It really is the little things that make me happy. Getting a new ironing board with a cute polka dot pattern, going back intime with Degrassi Junior high, the chopped onions in the fridge that reminded me of my dad's bbq's, and surprises. I recieved four last week.

My first pomegranate of the season courtesy of Niel.

A package from Jessica! A neat pineapple ice tray, a book on my wish list, lovely bowl, cute note cards, and a eggy slicer!

Halloween goodies from the Squilky's. The flowers were given to us when we were in D.C. but everything else arrived by mail.

And candy from Just Jenn for Halloween.

Hey there, Ani! I'm *finally* catching up on blog reading from when we were away in Indiana last week. I *love* your new fall graphic above! Did you make that? Surprises in the mail ROCK. We thank you SO much for the ones that you sent us! Happy Halloween! :)

Thanks Lisanne! Glad you all had fun! Yes I did make it. I found the pic and just changed it around to make it my own. My hubby helped a lot though. Glad you liked your Halloween surprise:)

Ani, that is a great book! It doesn't flow like most novels, but it's really interesting. I love reading books about cultures and situations so different from what we go through here in the States.

Yay for surprises!!!
