A nice light Summery meal that I always enjoy eating is Tabouli, Hummus and Falafel. I grew up eating Tabouli and Hummus but Falafel I only heard about and got the opportunity to eat while I was in college. The three go hand in hand in many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries and their popularity is growing in Western countries.

What are your favorite Summer meals?

It's not a meal but I eat a lot of fruit in the summer. Strawberries mainly. It gets soooooo hot around here, people just look for any way to cool down. Plus I love anything with lemon.
LOL on "Thong Song"

God I love strawberries! MMM! I used to eat them a lot as a kid. They're still my favorite but I also like all types of berries. And cherries. Yeah I drove Niel crazy singing Thong Song at the bus stop this morning. LOL. Don't know how its stuck in my head. Thong, thong, thong, thong.

I think chocolate and strawberries are on a whole new level for women. Rachel goes nuts for strawberries too. I like strawberries, but not quite to the extent of you ladies.

What do you like?

Over the summer I like steaks on the grill, corn on the cob, a nice salad and some watermelon for dessert.

How weird that you asked this and I just posted about how much I've been cooking lately and summer's just begun.

I just make teardrop tomato pasta.

That looks great! I love fresh things in the summer. Fruit, crisp veggies, smoothies, etc.

Yeah my body definetly goes that route during the Spring/Summer months. Especially berries.
