It was a nice weekend. Didn't feel like it passed by too quickly. Both the communion party and my dad's birthday party was fun. It was nice spending time with all the families and the food at both events was yummy. I had a really good feeling about this weekend but its funny how reading another person's perspective just turned me off. My reaction was "You have to be kidding right?" It's my own fault for constantly giving others chances. And I don't like to talk about too personal feelings. Funny I know since its a public blog. I just got frustrated. Niel and I also saw Anchorman. He had already seen it when he visited Squilky, but we got a free coupon from Blockbuster and decided to rent that since I hadn't. Niel was on the ball about the movie. It had funny scenes but was not a funny movie. Which was a shame since it had such potential to be a good film. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Can't wait to see your post. Yeah I have torn feelings if I get something I need to accomplish but don't get much time with the hubby. Glad you got to do what you needed though.

My first tag! I felt the same way about Anchorman too. I saw A Series of Unfortunate Events and really liked it. It's based on the Lemony Snicket children's books. I loved the music and artwork. Have a happy one!

I want to see Lemony Snicket also. The commercials looked so neat, but I've been fooled by the magic of great editing and PR. But from your recommendation I will definetly rent it now. Have a great day also! :)

Glad you had a good weekend! I haven't seen Anchorman but I really don't know if I want to.

Thanks. It could be just our perception but I didn't like it overall.

Happy BIrthday to your dad! Funny, I looked at your blog last night before I went to bed and I guess the picture of your dad stuck with me. I had this funny dream where I was at the airport, and I ran into three people at the terminal waiting to get on the same flight. Those three people were my sisters brother-in-law Vince, Carmen Electra and your dad. I remember saying happy birthday to him and he said "how did you know it was my birthday" and I don't remember much else.

Glad everything went well this weekend! I can totally see you as a chef. And I agree about Anchorman. I was so disappointed as it had potential.

Thanks Shannon! Aaah another disliker of Anchorman. And I really like Will Farrell. Doh. Hope his next two movies are good.
