Every time we are in Florida we eat at Alfredo's in Epcot. We make sure to order Aqua Panna. Normally we don't ask for bottled water when we do dine out. And we use Brita for home. But this water is so very delicious and crisp tasting. Niel came home excited because he had found some the other day. And now we have some for a special occasion.

Mmmm...Epcot!

I was a huge Wham fan years ago. I cried buckets when they broke up but as George was my favorite I was thrilled with his solo career.

Yeah Epcot rules! George is my favorite too. Poor Andy.

I have a confession. . . I NEVER drink water. Really. I know I should but I just don't. The only way I'll drink it is if it's flavored. Does this come in a flavored version?

foodiechickie said...

You know it may. I couldn't find a site to link it to.

Yvett was reading my mind. I was gonna ask if it came flavored too. I dont normally drink plain water either. All that soda and iced-tea I drank growing up, unflavored water just doesnt do it for me. Is this water carbonated like San Pelegrino and Perrier? I like both of those. I dont usually drink Evian or those kinds of water

Just regular water.

It's actually from the makers of Pellegrino ... but is not sparkling. It is so tatsy ... I didn't feel stupid ordering a $5 bottle of water at the resturant.

(BTW - I found it for 1.59 at Whole Foods)

My guess at what panna means would be bread or to be more vague sustinance .. or it menas nothing and they thought it would sound refreshing.

foodiechickie said...

In Italian it means cooked.

Mike said...

panna means cream in Italian. It's also slang for something else, but Im not going there. Use your imagination :-)

I thought Cotta was cream.

Oooooh great! Now I can't get that song out of my head. Although, I do love it. It always puts me in a happy mood.

Hi Holly! Glad to find some plain water drinkers! I can imagine how busy you guys are right now! Glad you guys got the gifts and really no thank you gifts are necessary. Just hearing you like it is enough. It's a thank you from us for the great time you showed Niel and I while we were in Albany:)
We already have a copy of Wonderfalls and we loved it and Dead Like Me. Too bad their parent companies don't know good tv and they were both cancelled. Blah! We have to hang out really soon again so we can go to that Pottery place in Stuyvesant and the Ground Round:)

Hey Alexis! Glad you enjoy the song! Hee Hee!

According to Babelfish and my mom, penna is cream. Cotta is cooked. But my mom knows the "Brooklyn" Italian, so Im not sure how accurate that is ;-)
