The pictures below were when Niel and I ate at the Waffle House. Not once but on two occassions. I had a Texas Patty Melt with hash browns (they were like potato noodles. So soft!) Niel had the steak and eggs. The second time we ate there, I ordered waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Niel had the Texas Patty Melt. The food is well made and so flavorful. I highly recommend it.

Hi Ani. My hubbie, who happens to be a police officer, has lots of funny stories about this particular Waffle House in the town where he works. He says if you want the "true" Waffle House experience go at 2 a.m. on a Saturday night. He's dared me to go but I've declined the offer. :-)
Still is like that. It was pretty neat. The first place we stopped by had a chef who did the cooking but would occasionally bring the food to the table.
It gets even wackier at 2AM Jessica?
Even wackier. Todd says that the drunks go there when the bars close. They are all crammed in there and usually a big fight breaks out.

I could see that Waffle House in Vero getting a little out of hand. especially with that waitress with the weird ankles and that dude with the cowboy hat.
Thanks Tammy! You know I was eyeing that on the menu. I hope we get to eat at another Waffle House too:)
