Niel checked and we have 1,419 songs on our computer and that translates into 3.5 days of music. Heh.

I got a second article published. I am pretty psyched. And Niel is doing well with getting his articles published too. Read all four here. Just type in Niel and click on reviewer.

Things are also getting a bit better at work for him. I hope they stay that way. One of his ideas might be made into a book.

We saw a really neat documentary on PBS this past weekend. "Do You Speak American". I hope they show it again because we only caught part of it. The movie had some interesting facts about how different parts of the country have their own slang and depending where the original settlers are from they incorporate a mixture of English with other languages. I recommend it highly.

I have to say that L.L. Cool J is the nicest guest judge on American Idol. He was so sweet to all the contestants! It was really refreshing to watch the show last night.

My nice coworker and friend Elaine brought me some whole wheat olive bread. I adore olive bread.I toast it and eat it with some butter. It reminds me of my childhood cause that is the way I would eat toast. With butter and olives. Mmm.

And my other friendly coworker Susan gave me a recipe for Minestrone soup. Can't wait to try it especially in this weather. Yum yum!

Happy Black History Month

Happy Ground Hogs Day

If you see women wearing red in the city and around the country it is for women's heart health.

Tax free shopping week in NYC is over. Pooh.

And I know that the Pope is quite old and has a multitude of health problems but I hope he gets better. I am silly that way.

Ahh here are some lovey frames(if I say so myself) on sale for valentine's day.

I thought LLCool was such a gentleman too. It was a nice surprise.
Your article made me want to visit. Sounds like you had a great time with your husband and have many memories of that happy place.~ Shelagh
