Niel and I got to see Ray this past Saturday after our errands. As everyone knows by now the film is about the legendary musician Ray Charles. I always thought of him as this talented, cute, little old man. Well I was in for a shocker. I won't give away too much in case anyone has not seen it yet. Jamie Fox was incredible. I thought Sharon Warren who played his mother was phenomenal and was disappointed that she nor Kerry Washington who played his wife were not nominated for Oscars. And I am very happy to see Regina King in so many movies. I remember her from her 227 days. Darn that was a good show. Ray is a moving, powerful, and superbly acted movie. I recommend everyone watch it.

We seen it last week....Such a good movie. I had no idea he was such a drug user, or that he had know Quincy Jones so long. I can't beleieve he was a wife cheater either. Oh and I still call Regina King Brenda Jenkins...LOL

I loved "227," too! What a great show! Brenda was always my favorite character. :)

Can't wait to see the movie, but will wait to rent it on direct tv. Jon and I can't sit in a movie theatre too long as it bothers our backs!

Us either. We rented it.
