Niel came back from another run to Trader Joe's this week but this time with a box of Candy Cane Joe Joe's. They are chocolate sandwiches filled with peppermint cream. And oh my are they a tasty treat!

He also said they have good beef jerky and I love their Olive Boule.(Boule Boule ooooh yeah) I swear we do buy some healthy things there. I mean doesn't the Olive Boule count? And the Jerky doesnt have any nasty bits in there. That counts right? Right? But seriously even if you did buy junk foood at Trader Joe's it is way healthier.

This is my new herb. It is a rosemary plant. We received it as a gift from Niel's boss a few weeks ago. So far it's doing well, thankfully.

Niel and I got to eat at Noodles & Company this past weekend.

They have three different country menu boards to choose from. American, Asian and Mediterranean. We tried the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese and Buttered Noodles. They were both simple yet delicious dishes.

I saw a post on Baking Bites that Sur La Table is selling a mini three tier oven rack that would save space in an oven. Just remove the top rack and put the mini rack on top of the bottom rack and there is so much extra room. Now the food can be served all at once and there one dish isn't colder than the rest. I think this is great for holidays, parties or large families.

Why are Clementines so addictive? I can never have just one. They are so very tasty.

I think the first time I tasted Yuca or Cassava was at a birthday party. I found it much more flavorful than a potato. Which is suprising cause I love potatoes. Here is more info on Yuca and recipes.

A few months ago I tried Betty Crocker's Seasoned Skillet Hashbrowns. Yes hash browns from a box. Didn't taste too much different than home made actually. Damn why don't I have a Waffle House closer to me? I miss their buttery hash browns.

I've been to a few BBQ joints but the menus never offered anything exotically(well to me) deep fried. But the other day I got to try deep fried dill spears at Spanky's. Goodness was that a delicious appetizer. I want to go back to try their deep fried green tomatoes next.

Is there anyway a hot dog can't be eaten? In a bun, with beans, in cornmeal, in croissant dough. I loooooove pigs in a blanket. Yum yum yum. So I was pretty happy to find hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough at Auntie Anne's. Or as I like to call the store Aunt Annie's. I don't know why. Anyway the pretzel dogs are like one giant pig in a blanket. Mmmmm.

I find these Jimmy Dean breakfast commercials pretty funny. There are a few of them. Haven't tried his products yet.
