Mmmm I love Sushi and Sashimi. Salmon rolls, shrimp Shumai, shrimp rolls, tempura. I could go on and on. But I was forward an interesting article that states Sushi wasn't always thought of as such a popular food, even by the Japanese.

I found out through Shannon's site that Nigella Lawson is back on the Food Network with another show Nigella Express. I love Nigella and am glad I read about it. The meals will preparation will be a bit quicker apparently. But I don't think her other dishes take very long to make either.

I had always thought there was one kind of Kiwi, the tart green kind. And I love them.
Last weekend we went to visit my parents and for dessert as usual my mom brought out fruit. She had Kiwi as well as some other fruit.
The outside looked like a regular Kiwi. This is where I think my mom got mixed up as well. But the inside was yellow. We both thought it was just overly ripe.
Nope, apparently there are also Gold Kiwi's. They are much sweeter. And I'm not a fan.

Ahh Fall it has so many wonderful things to offer apple and pumpkins to pick, and hopefully soon cooler weather(at least on this coast). But the one thing I hate about fall is candy corn. I despise candy corn. It's nothing but corn syrup. Blech. But their everywhere. I can't go without one store without seeing them. And of course in my own house. Niel loves them!

I knew Thai food could be spicy. Personally I love it. But so spicy that a street in London had to be closed because some of the ingredients at a restaurant were affecting pedestrians?

There are some popular Cupcake bakeries in New York city. I had only so far tried the Cupcake Cafe. I really love their cupcakes. Flavorful, not too sweet, home made, and you can tell its made with love. Recently I tried Magnolia. Good lord I will not be eating a cupcake from them again. Blech! It was too sweet and just plain gross.
