In an effort to continue the pain in my eyes as I dawdle the day away. I found this new site. And it has me in stitches! Enjoy!
Although I am happily married, I am addicted to Quizilla and bored out of my mind at work. Sorry Niel.

Congrats! You will marry Captian Jack Sparrow

I got this old Friday Five from another site. Ok I am obsessed!

Friday Five
1. Explain why you started to journal/blog. I wanted to remember this time of my life.

2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not? Most of them do.

3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog? Maybe creative and ranty!

4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year? I just want to keep writing.

5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs. Niel.blogspot.com, Stefmike.org, dooce.com, and LJCFYI.com

Ok folks time for the Friday Five !
You've Just Won A Million Dollars!
1. Who do you call first? My husband.

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself? Well I would pay off bills, buy a house for us and go on a world trip.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else? A car for my husband and pay off bills for our parents and send them on a trip.

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom? Charity; for the homeless, sick, animals and the charity that is our brothers. I wouldn't announce it to the world. People tend to get crazy when they find out that someone has money.

5. Do you invest any? If so, how? I would invest but I would have to learn about that.

I finished reading an article in The New Yorker called, The Kingdom of Silence by Lawrence Wright. The piece was thought provoking and thoughtful. It was about Wright working in Saudia Arabia for a few months and his observations about the Saudi culture.
Last night we checked out The Container Store. It is a nationwide chain and not they have one open in New York city! Woo hoo!! It is a orgonizational freak's dream come true. I happily found a solution to my shelfing problem for the pantry. We bought a metal stackable free standing shelf in white. So now when we open our mini pantry we can see what we need. Hopefully!
The store has something for every room in a person's home. They also have packing supplies, soap dispensers, wall hooks, trunk organizers, bike rackes, etc.
Knitting is going well. I am so far just practicing and not making anything. It is fun and very calming, because I am concentrating on the actual process and nothing else. Ahh!

Friends Quiz

I was surprised that Big Fish did not get nominated for more.

Which Spongebob character are you?!!

Well the snow was not that bad at all. New York City only got 8" of snow. Boo hoo. The city schools are closed. Most of my coworkers are home and I am here. The commute was not that bad. Atleast I have the yummy Chicken and Dumplings Niel made last night for dinner to look forward to for lunch and possibly trecking to Old Navy to look for new clothes.
The Oscar Nominees are out. I am glad that The Lord of The Rings got nominated for a few things. I do hope they win for best picture. I am surprised Whale Rider did not get nominated. I am happy the actress who played the lead did. I was also happy to see that Ken Watanabe got nominated for a supporting role in The Last Samurai. I remember him from Sixteen Candles. I think he is currently on ER. Although I did not watch Whale Rider(I really want to) all the trailers I saw, the movie looks great. I won't see The Last Samurai even if Ken Watanabe is in it. I don't care for Tom Cruise.
We watched American Idol last night. Still funny!!!

I should send the hobby grocery shopping more often. He is very good at it. He came back with bargains galore. Not only was Niel thrifty but he purchased fun grocery items. Can you imagine grocery items being fun? I can especially if my new dishwashing soap smells like green tea and oranges. Yum!!! Way to go Niel!
I forgot to do more work on the wedding pictures this weekend. Maybe if there is an actual storm tonight Niel and I can be snowed in and I can work on them. They are a bit messy now. Ahh a girl can dream.
Here are the recipes I promised from yesterday. There are links to the spaghetti and meatballs and the Thai dish, Mee Goreng . There was no link to the Curried Shrimp so I just typed it in below. Out of the three I totally enjoyed the Curried Shrimp!
Shrimp Curry
2 lbs shrimp or prawns, shelled and deveined
1 onion finely chopped
4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
2 stalks of lemon grass chopped or 2 tbs of lemon juice
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp pepper
2 dried red chilies finely chopped
2 bay leaves
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
5 tomatoes chopped
½ can coconut milk.

Sauté shrimp in small amount of oil. Set aside. Sauté onion, garlic, lemon grass in tbsp oil. Add spices and cook 5 – 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook and additional 10 minutes. Add coconut milk. Cook until mixture takes on a curdled appearance about 10 minutes. Add prawns and cook 10 minutes. Serve with Basmati rice.

I always believe that I will never have anything to blog about, but everyday something interesting happens that I find worthy to jot down. I was still hungry after eating Raisin Bran this morning so I decided to buy a bagel (my favorite is Pumpernickel with Scallion…and no I don’t have bad breath from it) and noticed my local bagel shop also sold Pom . I had wanted to try Pom since it became available because I enjoy eating Pomegranates in the winter and thought the bottle was neat. I started collecting bottles I thought were appealing a few years ago. I thought to myself how much could the drink cost? I usually pay $2.50 for the bagel and cream cheese. Yes it is a lot pricier than the guy with the cart who only charges 75 cents for a bagel. However his bagels don’t taste as fresh and he doesn’t have the variety of cream cheeses. Wow that totally sounds bad. Anyway back to the Pom story. It ended up costing $4.00. Well at least that is what this store charges. I was willing to pay an extra $2.00 but I ended paying an extra $4.00.
I think I will just stick to eating Pomegranates. I did get a neat bottle for $4.00 ha ha ha!
My coworker Michelle gave me the great idea to save the juice because they go great with Vodka or a Martini. Anyone interested?
I froze the left over spaghetti and meatballs and for two weekends I will not have to cook. I also heard that tomato sauce gets better after it sits a while in the fridge/freezer. I hope so. Once I reheat it I’ll ad more garlic and other Italian seasonings and see if it helps the taste. Although I enjoy cooking I am busy on weekends with other things to do as most people are.
I also have a lot of Mustard Greens left over from my cooking Thai experience. Luckily I found a recipe to use the Mustard Greens in. It sounds good. I hope it tastes good also.
Tonight I am making Chicken and Dumplings. I tried making it in our crock pot which was tasty, but I want to see how it is in a Dutch Oven.

Saw a bit of the Golden Globes. I always mean to remember to program our guide but always forget. Glad Lord of The Rings won many awards. It is a beautiful movie and if anyone who thinks it is about fat hobbits(which would be fine even if it were) is silly. I didn’t like Nicole Kidman’s dress. I did like Charlize Theron’s dress.
I made spaghetti with meatballs on Sunday night and we will have it for leftovers for tonight’s meal as well. It was so so. I am going to keep searching for a recipe that is more flavorful. I have only found a few recipes for meals that I consider spectacular.
The day before I made Curried Shrimp with a Thai dish (the name escapes me at the moment). The Curried Shrimp was delicious! The Thai dish was soo soo. I will post all three recipes later in case anyone is interested in trying themselves.
We also finally saw Bowling For Columbine. That is my fault. I was hesitating watching it for a while because I didn’t want to be depressed. I tend to go for movies that I get to escape into or make me laugh. I knew Bowling For Columbine would not fit into either of these categories. But I am happy we saw it. It was incredible. However I felt so defeated after viewing it. Although America is a million times better that many, many other countries we have a hell of a lot of problems and I feel that they cannot be fixed. I know this is negative but there are so many terrible people out there where does and how does one start?
Niel and I both woke up to bad head pain this morning. He has a terrible headache and I have a migraine. It is like an attack on my entire body. My head is throbbing, my eyes hurt, I am sensitive to sound and noise and am nauseaus. Plus our phones are not working. Noise is coming through them but it sounds like a waterfall of static. Great for my migraine. ARRRGGHH!!
I am really into these question games. I got this one from stefmike.org . Enjoy!

1 = Places I've visited
2 = Places I've lived
3 = where I live now

1) New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Washington, California, Florida and British Columbia

Countries I've visited: Canada & Armenia

Places I really want to visit: Boston, Chicago, England, Ireland, Washington D.C., Scotland, Australia, Toronto & Montreal

I have not been able to stop writing since mentioning a few posts ago that I would be taking a break because I have or had writer's block. I have tons of ideas for stories, a poem and articles. It is funny when inspiration strikes. This is good and bad. The good part is the writer's block is gone. It is bad because now I know that the writer's block does not last forever, and I can always begin a story. You ask how can this possible be bad? Well I have trouble with finishing a story...the direction I take it to. I guess I should just write and be happy that I have something to write down, even if it is the beginning portion only.
I have been on a Thai kick lately. Scouring the web for recipes that sound close to the delicious Thai cuisine Niel and I devoured in Seattle. I found some recipes and immediately went to the Asian supermarket in Elmhurst. Below is a picture of my bounty. Later on I will post how my attempt at cooking Thai went.

I thought I found the best fast food sushi place near my office. But I was wrong. Maybe it is because I ate there three times in three weeks and I got sick of it, maybe it is because I suspect it is run by Turks(pooh), or maybe it just sucks and I was wrong. Anyway I am no longer eating there which is good because now I don't have to feel guilty any longer.
I gave in and I am learning how to neat. I tried once in college but never finished learning and my coworker Elain knows how so she is teaching me. I will post my progress if any. My first and only thing I can make is the scarf I promised Niel seven years ago. So you know I am very far behind.
I found this neat site for questions and I thought it would be fun to post questions on fridays. So please answer in my comments section and enjoy!
At this moment, what is your favorite...

1. ...song? Hey Ya by Outcast

2. ...food? Anything Thai

3. ...tv show? Friends sniffle.

4. ...scent? Michael Koors perfume

5. ...quote? Every flower has to go through a lot of dirt, by Laruen Bond.
My morning started off pretty happy. I had a good appointment with a new client for my day job. He owns a cute little café on the Upper East Side. That is New York City for anyone that might read my little blog who lives out side of the New York metro area. After I left with a contract I slowly walked towards the train station looking to see of other potential business. I scribbled a number down. AsI got closer to the train I went into a bookstore and looked at a few books. However, I was drawn toward the section where they kept journals. I love looking at journal covers and the empty pages that could possibly be filled with writing, or be made into scrapbooks or used for doodling. Looking at them made me feel warm inside. I got a journal for a gift a few months back and I have been meaning to carry it along with me; because any time I tend to get an idea I don’t have a piece of scrap paper to write it down. So the idea is forgotten. I already carry two bags with me, filled with schoolbooks and reading material; so the little journal sits on one of the bookshelves with its pages waiting to be written in. But one small journal isn’t too much extra weight to bring with me.
I am working on a new frame for my business. The customer gave me the idea. I was a little perplexed because I wanted to do a good job. Usually the ideas come to me easily, but this one I had to really rack my brain and thankfully the customer and I were on the same wavelength!
I would also like to congratulate Jennifer and Renzo who are expecting their first baby!!!!
May they have a healthy little one and their lives be filled with happiness!!

Office politics sucks. People split up terretories when they really belong to others.
Plus relating to me I went on 4 freaking sales calls this week and tomorrow I have another and my boss said I should have made more in that area? How can weget anything done in the office when we are expected to be out? We are not a big conglomarate with assistants for everyhing. I make my own collections calls as well as make sure the ads go through.
Then to top it off the poorly run classified dept which I place ads for occasionally misbilled one of my clients. Aaaay it never ends!!!!!!!
Woo hoo I just received a 1,000 page views. I also have 405 visitors. Who are all you people?

My weather pixie sort of looks like me. We both have brown short hair, have a coat with fur on the collar and have a black kitty.
Happy Chinese New Year! It is the Year of the Monkey!

I forgot to mention I found this neat Armenian recipe site. I added it to my side bar along with some other stuff.

Newlyweds was back on last night. That is the show where Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are followed around during the first years of their marriage by cameras.
I don't understand how they can have every minute taped..well of course excluding being in the bathroom and bedroom. I guess they are "stars" and it helps their "careers". After that we left MTV on to wach Till Death Do Us Part. Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have also gotten on the reality tv bandwagon and next week The Osbournes are back on. I wonder how long this reality stuff will last? I guess as long as suckers like me are sucked into it.
I forgot to mention that during the New York tryouts of Amerian Idol this Armenian girl from Bulgaria who oddly enough now lives in Maspeth auditioned. Oh my God she was sooo deep voiced and of course they did not pick her.

It was an amusing night of televison yesterday. First it was the second day of American Idols. The city this time was Atalanta. The talent there and I use that word loosely was no better than New York City. The second funny programing was The State of The Union address. I mean really, who is Bushy kidding? Hmmm?
Last night's dinner on the table.

Tuesday, January 20, 2004

Tonight's dinner tasty Dirty Rice.

Niel made a yummy chicken shake and bake last night for dinner. We had perogis, corn and onion rings for our side dishes. Mmmmmmmm!!!!
Last night we had a T.V. dilemma. The T.V. Gods decided to put three programs on at once: American Idol, the Caucus and Wrestling. Wrestling is a weekly thing for us, American Idol we watch every year and luckily the Caucus only comes every few years. So what we ended up doing was watching American Idol from 8 to 9 (our regular shows were in reruns yay). I love the first few weeks of Idol. I was so embarassed for some of those people. We then switched over to RAW and flipped back and forth from wrestling to the Caucus most of the night. Lucky us to have such minute problems.
Shockingly though Kerry won Iowa? How the hell did that happen? HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read in Entertainment Weekly that Madeline L'Engle’s A Wrinkle In Time is going to be bough to film and shown on ABC sometime in the spring. Apparently it has been in the works for years. I hope ABC does not Disney it up (sorry Niel). It was one of my favorite books as a child, in fact a couple of years ago I reread it as an adult(I sort of am) and I enjoyed it even more.

Look at our chocolate pacman cake:

Well I am at work today and yay Elaine is back. Although understandably she is tired but back! MLK counts as a floating holiday for my company. Here is my weekend in a nutshell. After cleaning Friday night I cooked jambalaya for our dinner. It sure was tasty. We ended eating it all through the weekend. Besides being yummy it saved money as well.

Saturday we got a late start at running our errands. It was too gross out to leave our warm apartment any earlier. In the evening Ted and Maria came over for a game of Trivial Pursuit – Twentieth Anniversary edition. Ted beat all of us. I was getting a lot of the answers right this time. Mostly because they were landing on the pink category which is entertainment. It sure is nice to have a couple that has been over to our apartment.

The snacks we served were jalapeno poppers, Pepperoni rolls (I added mozzarella to it) and corn and jalapeno muffins. We also had apple cake for dessert.

We were watching a program on VH1 that highlighted the worst music videos. The people they had on commenting really had no idea what they were talking about. If you're going to make a comment about a certain celebrity get the facts straight.

Most of Sunday I spent rearranging our snapfish albums. By the time I was done my butt, index finger and eyes were tired. I still have about 10% of the wedding album to do but that is ok. I decided I won't send Snapfish any film to be developed. I however do not have no problem with getting prints from them for our digital pictures. If anyone wants to check out the pics on snapfish just sign up. It’s free.

We also watched Finding Nemo. It was such a funny and sweet movie. Ellen Degeneres is hysterical!!! The imagery was mesmerizing!

I wanted to get the shelf for the pantry but the roads were too bad even just to drive a few miles to Home Depot .

I am having a bit of writer’s block and to go along with that, a bit of self-doubt. Niel has helped me along greatly by reading the stories and giving advice. However I decided I need to take a break. I will go back to the stories when I am more inspired. I’ve overwhelmed myself with all these projects. Although I enjoy being busy. (I don’t know how else to be), I’m kind of burnt out. I do feel guilty about having writers block because I have been writing some of these stories for a long time now.

Dinner Sunday night was a delicious chili pie from Real Simple magazine. It was the perfect warm meal to accompany the not so warm temperatures outside. (And lucky me gets to have leftovers for lunch today). As we ate we watched the third Indiana Jones movie. I find it interesting the consistent theme of religion in George Lucas' films. I guess that theme of good verses bad is universal.

Chili Pie Recipe
1 lb of sweet Italian chicken sausage(remove casings)
1TB Chili Powder
2 15 ounce cans kidney beans in sauce
1/2 cup hot salsa
1 8.5 ounce box corn bread mix(requires one egg and 1/3 cup of water)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 400F. Cook the sausage over medium heat in an oven safe skillet, breaking and cooking meat until browned. Drain the fat. Add the chili powder and cook, strirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the beans and salsa. Heat to boiling. Meanwhile, prepare the corn bread mix according g to the label directions.. Stir in the cheddar. Remove the chili from the heat and spread the corn bread batter over the chili. Place the skillet in the oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Remove and rest for 10 minutes before eating. Enjoy!

I hate hearing that people might move. Probably because I hate change. Although change is the only consistent thing, I still hate my environment changing. And me being a bit(hee hee) of a control freak I hate hearing that people might leave. I had such a hard time leaving Queens College. It was the most fun I ever had in school. Even with all the wackiness that happened there. It was still a lot of fun. Of course the best thing I got out of that experience was Niel. He was the best change. Finding someone that gets you. Some of the others at QC stayed in our lives and the rest didn't and that was terribly sad, but most of it was for the best.
Although I too would like to move sometimes; Niel is in a really good place with his career and it would be selfish to pick up and start all over again. But I can't help having wanderlust. I guess we can always travel.
Some of you who read this might wonder why I am rambling so incoherently and grammatically incorrect about, but that is ok. I am just trying to capture the moment. Plus I have The Beatles in the background on my Itunes, so I am feeling sappier than usual.

"Living Is Easy With Eyes Closed Misunderstanding Is All You See" From Strawberry Fields, The Beatles
What a wierd morning. The pipes were frozen in my office and now the pipes broke so there is water everywhere. I am swimming from room to room.

Well my comments are back and the site is back to normal. A big thanks to Niel for this as well as making the frame site.
Boy is it freaking cold and slippery outside. We sled to work.

Wednesday, January 14, 2004

Baby it's cold outside. The warmest place I have found in New York city is the women's bathroom in my office building.
I have discovered that Marthat Stewart.com has a wish list. You know I am so going to get a wish list on her site. Plus I have a birthday coming up in a few months. Aaack! That depressed me instead of making me happy.
A big fat thank you to All Things Girl for linking my frame site!
So in a failed effort to put back comments I have managed to screw the format of my blog and eventually delete all of my side links. Niel offered to help me after work that is if we don't fall asleep again. LOL!
I am sure he can do it since he did such a fab job with the frame site
After reading the following food site . I recalled when I went food shopping a few towns from us for some Asian ingredients because I was making spring rolls for the holidays. I don’t know what possessed me because I am usually a stick by the recipe type of cook but I thought that tofu and chili-garlic sauce would be a good combination. I am sure this dish has been done before but I was surprised that I had thought of to buy it and at how good it tasted. Of course it was very hot and Niel hates Tofu but he humored me and tried it. He didn't enjoy it. I would recommend it to those of you that like Tofu and chili-garlic sauce.

Mmm Sushi=Happy Ani.

My stupid comments won't work and blogger is no help!

HELP!!!!

Did anyone watch The Surreal Life last night? It is such a guilty pleasure. It brought back memories when all that was on t.v. was Eric Estrada, Tammy Faye Baker , and Vanilla Ice...urgh I mean Robert Van Winkle. Damn these shows and stores capitalizing on my childhood and damn me for buying into it.
Sadly though my coworker Elaine is going to be out this week also. She sounds good but her doctor wants her to get rest.
I am having a good morning and had a great 2003 and 2004 looks good, but I am still not happy. It is hard to explain. I mean I feel good right now but I am just expecting bad things to happen. I don't know why I feel more comfortable in that feeling then happy? I don't want to want bad things to happen or enjoy it when they happen. I guess I got used to it somehow.
I cleaned up my side bar a bit. I added and changed things. If you sign up to Snapfish. You can also see my pics. I tried to put in the code but would not work. Oh well. There are also more frames added!

Super neato! One of my poems was published by All Things Girl. Check it out!
Intrigued by reports of Hillary Clinton's comment I found this personality test online and decided to take it. I have no clue how I became even remotely close to being like Ghandi.

My pinky let alone me is hard to believe I could be like Ghandi. Which leader are you most like?
I really enjoy this new blog I have been going to lately. It is refreshing compared to a lot of the other sites I have gone to which are very pompous. Dooce has a funny and sarcastic outlook on life.

Plus the fact that she could consider herself anything like him.

Forgot to mention in my last entry I took my second test and I recieved a great score. Better than the last one. Which I am happy about. True it's not a test to be a rocket scientist but I am doing well which makes me happy.
I am really enjoying reading The Burning Tigris. Although I don’t know if people on the train who might see me reading the book would agree with me. The ranges of emotions on my face go from pure anger to tears. I know it is a bad thing to say but I truly hate the Turkish government and I hope that they are and will suffer greatly in hell.
The book is very well written and the author Balakian did his research very well. From what I have read, besides diving into Armenian history it also mentions in detail American history. I am a history buff. I love learning about past events. I wished I paid more attention in school. But since the books I read now are not assigned to me I find them more enjoyable. Although it could have been that most textbooks are just boring.
I recommend this book to anyone that has any interest in learning more about American history as well as Armenian history. All my life when I told people what my heritage was they looked at me like I said I was from outer space. Armenia was once a great kingdom full of inventors, artist, and other fine people. Our land stretched all the way to some parts of Iran. But after many conquerings(oddly enough we aren’t good fighters) we only have about 10% of what we originally had. But I guess that is most of the world. The 30 pages I have read so far have given me even more pride about being an Armenian. True I only lived there for 5 years of my life but Armenians brought me up. I was lucky and unlucky in ways to experience both cultures because neither culture accepted me as their own. But I still love where I am from and where I reside and believe me some days it is hard to remember this.
My coworker Elaine(who will be back to work on Monday..YAY!) and I discuss a wide variety of subjects politics, food, history, bodily functions, food, co-workers, food…(have I mentioned we adore food and discuss it at great lengths?) She knows a great deal about history and I am always so amazed at the information she has to share about history. It is nice knowing more about the country I live in as well as the country I was born in.
Also my studies are going well. Who knew I knew so much about weddings and who knew there is still so much to learn.
I have a love hate relationship with exercise. I love to hate it. It isn’t that it is hard but I get very lazy. I am trying hard to exercise. Before we left for the West Coast I climbed more stairs then I had to before and after work. It helped for a while to shed some weight. However I got tired from all the walking we did on our trip that when I got back I just rode the escalator. But I am back to climbing those stairs.

My
frame site has relaunched. Take a looky! Although I have made over 28 frames, I only have been able to upload three frames; but I am adding them daily. Enjoy! That is the first surprise. The second one I am still waiting for.
Dear Maria,

I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday and may you have many, many more. We've known you now for seven years when we met at QC, you were a part of our lives then, you were the maid of honor at our wedding, you're a part of our lives now. I hope all of us can stay friends for a very long time. And just to spread the good cheer that you and Ted have been receiving. I hope 2004 makes the two of you three. Hee Hee Hee.

I just learned a neat way to remove oil stains from clothing. Immediately dab talcum powder on the spot and leave it on until you wash it. It absorbs the oil. I wish I knew this. I am a sloppy eater and unfortunetly have thrown away ALOT of clothing.
Lately everytime I eat I have gotten heart burn and most of the time acid reflux.
I've been meaning to say that Payless has gotten very trendy lately. Lots of cute little shoes.

Happy Armenian Christmas and Three Kings Day .
I visited Elaine yesterday and have spoken with her a few times. She looks and sounds good. The doctors told her the earliest she would be out is Thursday. I hope she feels better very soon.
I have been inspired by the newest blog I read to add shelves to our small pantry. This will be the next house project. Our pantry sits above our oven and is the size of a small crate, with only one small shelf. I am constantly rearranging it and trying to find creative ways for the contents not to fall out on one of us every time we open one of the doors.
It was so very nice being on vacation. I felt like I was on one large 4 week one. We went away for a week and when I came back it was the holidays and luckily I had a lot of days off. Now I am back to regular hours and my exhaustion and aggravation has returned. I come home tired and conk on the sofa after dinner to the sounds of the various TV. shows in the background. Some are of men throwing each other around in the ring, others are of couples arguing at a silly thing one of them did. I know I am lucky just to work and have the luxury to be able to travel and purchase things I need and want(someday like a house with a two door fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, pantry and so on). I just hope I can work from home one day and be successful at it. I can wake up when I want or need to(which is usually early) and do as much work as I need or want; as well as other things that need to be taken care of. I am sure it is difficult to work from home because most people would think that I would be goofing off and would be upset they could not be home also. Plus you would also need to prove yourself more.

I found out when I came to work this morning that one of my coworkers is in the hospital. And not just any old coworker that I would feel terrible that they are ill. Elaine is my best friend at work. She taught me everything I know about my job. Elaine is also a fun person, full of good stories and funny jokes. I hope she feels better and is back to work soon. I along with some other of my coworkers are of course going to visit her.
This weekend was a lot of fun. Niel and I relaxed on Saturday by watching DVD's and playing Trivial Pursuit. Of course he beat me. His brain is a sponge with tons of information. It was fun and relaxing. I also found my study guide so it is back to studying. I forgot I packed it for our trip so during the long plane rides I would read that occasionally. For every chapter I read of my study book I will reward myself by reading The Burning Tigris.
Sunday we went and ran some errands of things we needed around the apt. So hopefully my office/guest room will be in working shape soon. Inspired by my office coming together I also made two frames and progressed further into my two of my three stories. Which is good. I also have two things happening which I will wait at a later time to reveal. We also ventured into Williamsburg to check out a artist flea market and Niel saw a neat Asian restaurant called Seas that we are going to have to try. That area is becoming so trendy.
I was reading my usual blogs and at times when I read this particular blog I feel like I am reading about myself. This could not be more true then today's posting. Of course everything about today's entry would not apply to me since she and I are not the same person, but a lot of it did. I did always know about the intuitiveness.

Spent the first day of the New Year watching Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King.
Although the ending was way too long nonetheless it was a spectacular movie, thoughtful with beautiful scenery, and captivating. I was so amazed that two sequals did an amazing job. It trully shamed Matrix 2 and 3.
