When I was younger and in elementary school I would always complain when I would have to be woken up to go to school. I feel the same way about work, especially Mondays. The song "I don't like Mondays" is also stuck in my head. This Monday was difficult to go into work since I have a toothache(thank goodness I have a dentist appointment tomorrow...can't believe I typed that) and also since Niel and I had such a nice weekend.

The train ride in this morning was a little wacky. There was this man who kept yelling out that women are secret agents sent by the government to take down men. Niel and I could not tell if he was drunk, mentally ill or both. Anyway it was an interesting ride.

Friday we finally got to see I Heart Huckabees. The movie was enjoyable and right up my alley.

Saturday Niel, me, Niel's brother Mike and Erin went to see Fiddler on The Roof.e Mike had extra tickets when some friends of he and Erin's could not make it. The show was fabulous. Niel liked it also so maybe I can convince him to go see Rent, Mama Mia and Hairspray.

Fiddler on The Roof is one of my favorite movies and seeing a live version of it was incredible. I hadn't been to a Broadway show in some time so it was nice.

Afterwards we looked for a place to eat. Erin remembered a pub downtown and we headed down there. The pub serves sweet potato fries. I sampled some of Niel's. Tasty! The food was good, but the best part was the juke box. We took turns putting in money to play music we liked.

Later in the evening Niel and I went to my parents house for a visit. It was nice to see them again.

Sunday Niel, me, Maria and Ted went pumpkin picking out on Long Island. We originally intended to go apple picking, but it did not work out. Maybe this weekend. The day was pretty chilly but we had a good time. When we were coming in there was this guy welcoming people and when he saw us he mentioned how we looked like city slickers. Geez. Afterwards we went to their farmers market and this old lady who was directing traffic asked if we were "Party People." The four of us thought that was the funniest thing because normally that question is asked if you're going to a rave or to score some uhum... illegal substance. What she was apparently asking us if we were trying to book a party for a child. What a way to ask! Here are some pictures. Afterwards we stopped by Trader Joe's. I had heard about Trader Joe's for a while now and wanted to see it. I enjoy going to different supermarkets. Ted said they have Trader Joe's in Texas also. I liked the islandy feel of the supermarket and the majority of the products they sell they make themselves; so the prices are reasonable as they cut out the middle man.

Today is International Pasta Day!

Thanks. That could be a possibility.
