Niel & I did end up seeing Fahrenheit 9/11. It was an extremely disturbing film to say the least. I feel like I am in some type of thriller movie or nightmare. I cried the entire way through and not just the very gory scenes. My crying began within the first 15 minutes of the movie when they showed the scene at the senate.

The best way to summarize why I saw it is something I found on another blog.

"My views on the current US Government are very harsh and not because I am a Democrat (I don't belong to either party) but because I read a lot and listen to people speak and have red flags going off in my brain that say, "I don't think that's right. Something's not making sense." These flags don't come out because I blindly support one party over another but because I tend to question things. I tend to be healthfully critical. I'd do this regardless of who is in power because whoever is in power of the country I am living in affects me. I'll support what deserves supporting and question what doesn't make sense.

And I would hope that others would do this as well. Because it's not about making a party - or leader - right. It's about making a country and it's people healthy.

(I wrote this because day 53 on this site didn't make sense to me, and there seems to be a lot of things like this within the current US Administration. Regardless if you support the current government or not, this kind of stuff should be questioned."

The rest of the weekend was not traumatic. I cleaned, we visited with my parents, brother and his lovely girlfriend Christine and enjoyed the time off work.

Ani,

I really want to see that movie too. I'm hoping Aaron will want to see it with me sometime this week, after he gets back from Colorado. I don't want to see it without him.

Yes you will need the hubby for support. Niel patted me and asked if I was ok. I did the same for him. You can always rent it and whale in your own home. Me I choked down as much as I could so not to disturb my fellow movie goers. Although by the end most of the theater was in tears. Moore is very good at that.
